The S&P 500 closed up for the 2nd week in a row. Only about 9 points but we'll take it. The gross domestic product numbers indicate the economy was growing at a slower pace in the second quarter than the first, but you corporate earnings are still very good.

The buy and hold ETF investor made about $78 in the balanced ETF portfolio. The moving average investor made about $36 for the week in the same portfolio.

Moving Average Update
Each week, the moving average investor compares the 50 day MA against the 200 day MA to see if he should sell (or buy) any of the 10 ETFs in the balanced ETF portfolio.

The Spyders still have not given a clear sell signal. The Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF is slightly positive for holding on to so we're not going to sell at this point.
