Buy and Hold vs. Moving Average ETF Investing 3-26-10

Broken record... the S&P 500 moved higher again this week about 9.3 points. However, Wed., Thur. and Fri. were down days. Our two investor portfolios continue at all times.

The buy and hold ETF investor portfolio increased about $43 in the balanced ETF portfolio. His total portfolio balance is now at $15,659 and the total gain is 56% since we starting tracking this portfolio in March of 2009.
The moving average ETF investor gained about $27 for the week. His portfolio is now valued at $11,379 (same balanced portfolio). He has gained 13.3% for the same time period.

Moving average update:

The 50 day moving average is still above the 200 day moving average for all 10 ETFs from the diversified ETF Portfolio. As a result, no changes are made to the moving average ETF portfolio.
