In the March issue of Futures Magazine (or from their website), they have compiled their 2009 listing of ETFs. The ETFs are listed based on daily trading volume and broken down by categories such as Bear Market ETFs, Currency Market ETFs, Large Cap, Mid Cap, Small Cap, etc.
It's a nice listing of all the ETFs that trade more than 100,000 units a day (for the last 3 months of 2008. You might find it to be a good reference when looking for ETFs. When you go to www.futuresmag.com, type in ETF in the search block and select the Futures 2009 ETF Guide.
